As part of the OPA's (Ontario Power Authority) Every Kilowatt Counts program, rebates are available for residents of Ontario who replace their old central air conditioning or heating systems with ENERGY STAR® qualified models that are installed by a participating "Cool Savings" contractor.

$250 Rebate for an ENERGY STAR qualified Central Air conditioning system (ENERGY STAR qualified criteria = minimum 14.5 SEER and 12 EER ).

$400 Rebate for a "Tier 2" level central air conditioning system. ("Tier 2" level qualified criteria = minimum 15 SEER and 12.5 EER)

$125 Rebate for a mid or high-efficiency furnace with an Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM).
