A heat exchange is a set of metal tubes that are curved. As the heat and hot gases pass through the heat exchanger, the air surrounding the outside of the heat exchanger is warmed. This warm air is then circulated through your home's ventilation system. The unwanted gasses are expelled out of the system through a vent pipe that leads to the outside of your home.
